IV therapy in St Julian's

The clinic provides medically supervised IV therapy and infusions in a dedicated treatment area, always following an individual medical assessment.

How IV therapy works at the clinic

Every request begins with a medical consultation. A doctor reviews your history, current symptoms, medication and any relevant test results, and decides whether an infusion is appropriate. If it is, the treatment is administered by a clinician in the treatment area and you are monitored throughout.

What is included in an assessment

  • Review of medical history and medication
  • Discussion of symptoms and goals
  • Checks for contraindications
  • Explanation of suitability, benefits and risks
  • Blood tests where the doctor considers them useful

Safety and supervision

  • Doctor-led assessment before any infusion
  • Administration by trained clinical staff
  • Monitoring during and after treatment
  • Clear aftercare advice and follow-up where needed

Who it may not be suitable for

IV therapy is not appropriate for everyone. Certain medical conditions, medications, pregnancy and allergies may mean the treatment is declined or an alternative is recommended. The clinic will always explain the reason.

IV therapy is only provided where a doctor considers it clinically appropriate. The clinic does not publish treatment formulations or make claims about outcomes.
